Experience

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Ithaca College. While in college, I traveled to Costa Rica to study Spanish. After school, I went to Spain to teach English and to tutor the English language to students of Spain. After returning, I have tutored New York students in both English and Spanish. I am currently teacher at Danvers High School. I have taught high school Spanish for 5 years, including a year in the New York public school system. I love teaching Spanish and helping students learn. I strive to make sure my students enjoy learning Spanish. I am confident in my ability to teach any level of the Spanish language. I believe that any student can be taught, no matter their learning style or their interests. On top of this, I make sure to help teach habits and skills that will benefit the student. That way they have the ability to go further in all levels of school, no matter the subject or challenge. Teaching the Spanish language is my passion.In my free time I have many hobbies, such as surfing during all the seasons, rock climbing (indoor), and I love being outdoors with my family.
